UNIDO provides both public and private stakeholders with tools and methodologies for project appraisal and feasibility analysis, recognizing that high-quality pre-investment advice leads to better projects and contributes to increased local and foreign investments. UNIDO’s Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis and Reporting (COMFAR) supports investment-profiling efforts and offers feasibility analysis for large infrastructure or public-private partnership (PPP) projects through a blending finance mechanism to develop bankable projects. The software, along with accompanying manuals and teaching materials, facilitates short- and long-term financial and economic analysis for both industrial and non-industrial projects. UNIDO offers training on Financial Analysis of Investment Project Scenarios with the application of COMFAR software at three levels: Beginners, Advanced, and Training-of-Trainers.
