VIENNA -  Director General Gerd Müller met Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, to discuss opportunities for further cooperation. Topics included UNIDO’s contribution to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a strategic framework to reduce the country’s dependence on oil, diversify its economy and develop public service sectors, and to the Saudi Green Initiative to advance the fight against climate change.
