VIENNA, 23 February 2017 - The Director General and Yaseen Khayyat, Minister of Environment of Jordan, today signed a project document on implementing the second phase of the “HCFC phase-out management plan in Jordan" project. The signing ceremony marks the inception of the plan and strengthens the continued successful cooperation between Jordan and UNIDO for a positive contribution to the recovery of the Ozone Layer and the mitigation of climate change.
