VIENNA, 23 February 2023 - The UNIDO Innovation Lab is a new flagship initiative of the Director General, which serves as the Organization’s innovation front to help drive the discovery, creation and scaling up of novel development solutions. The goal is to support UNIDO personnel and partners to actively contribute towards strengthening a culture of creativity and collaboration to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Through the Innovation Lab, UNIDO aims to increase the effectiveness and impact of its operations through innovative services and provide its Member States and partners with value where it matters the most. The Innovation Lab welcomes UNIDO teams and partners to co-create and apply new tools and development approaches.
