القاهرة ، 29 سبتمبر 2020 ، أصدرت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (اليونيدو) ، بالتعاون مع مركز تحديث الصناعة التابع لوزارة التجارة والصناعة، تقرير مؤشر قياس أثر جائحة كورونا على أداء القطاع الصناعي في مصر. تم إعداد المؤشر من خلال مسح 1300 منشأة صناعية (كبيرة ومتوسطة وصغيرة) حول تأثير الأزمة على أدائها. كما تناول المؤشر الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الحكومة وانعكاساتها الإيجابية على أداء القطاع. وقد تضمن التقرير التوصيات الصادرة عن المجتمع الصناعي لتعزيز أداء القطاع خلال الفترة المقبلة. شمل المسح قطاعات الصناعات الكيماوية والغذائية والزراعية والهندسية والمنسوجات والأثاث والتعبئة والصناعات الجلدية.
