Support to INC on Plastic Pollution

Facilitated by UNIDO, GACERE supports the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Plastic Pollution (INC) in its efforts to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment. 

GACERE developed a policy brief on the circular design of plastic products, aiming to support INC delegates and negotiators by offering suggestions and approaches for integrating circular design criteria in the upcoming instrument.  

GACERE’s contribution to the INC was highlighted at the workshop “scaling-up circular design of plastic products” at the World Circular Economy Forum 2024.
