The seventy-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 76) will open on 14 September 2021 at the United Nations headquarters in New York under the theme: "Building resilience through hope — to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalise the United Nations". The General Debate will take place from 21 September through 27 September 2021. 

UNIDO will be actively involved in conversations on how to leverage the post-pandemic response from various angles within its inclusive and sustainable industrial development  (ISID) framework to further accelerate the achievements of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 SDGs. Find an overview of selected high-level meetings and side-events below!
