The Green Industrial Policy Programme promotes green and low-carbon industrial development in manufacturing sectors and small and medium enterprises with a focus on key high-impact sectors including textiles, iron and steel, fertilizer, cement, and food and beverage, which possess a higher potential to contribute to member countries' climate objectives.

At the same time, we work with member countries closely to identify priority and emerging industry sectors and support enterprises in their expansion to the green market, with the aim of enhancing job-rich green economic development and greater access of all members of society, in particular women, to opportunities in green industry.
