The purpose of this independent evaluation was to assess the ITPO network performance in terms of relevance, effectiveness, coherence, efficiency, sustainability and progress to impact; to assess specific ITPOs as case studies to provide lessons and recommendations for their next extensions; and, to identify key findings, recommendations and lessons learned to feed into the design and\nimplementation of future phases related to operational ITPOs, and potential new or future ITPOs and related ITPO and UNIDO services.

The purpose of this independent evaluation was to assess the implementation of the 2015 Gender Policy and 2016-2019 Gender Strategy (GPS) and the resulting advancement of gender mainstreaming and gender equality and the empowerment of women (GEEW) in UNIDO. The findings of this evaluation are expected to inform UNIDO Management and stakeholders, with a particular focus on the gender architecture, and feed into the implementation of the current 2019 Gender Policy and 2020-2023 Gender Strategy.\n

The purpose of this independent evaluation was to review and synthesize the design, performance, lessons learnt and recommendations from twelve (12) Renewable Energy projects evaluated between 2016 and March 2020; To identify key lessons, areas for improvement and systemic issues on the thematic area of renewable energy projects; and, to generate consolidated learnings, recommendations and possible actions to help UNIDO senior management and the Energy department to further improve its performance and results.
