As the world gathers at COP29 to address the global climate crisis, one sector holds immense potential to drive meaningful, large-scale transformation - industry. 

The industrial sector is both a major contributor to climate change and a critical part of the solution. The United Nations Industrial Development Organization is here to demonstrate how industrial innovation, technology and collaboration can accelerate the transition to a low-emission and climate-resilient future. 

For the first time ever, UNIDO is proud to host its own dedicated pavilion at COP29, under the theme "Industrial Solutions for People and Planet." Over the next days, our pavilion will be a hub of activity, showcasing impactful initiatives and fostering dialogue on the role of industry in tackling the climate emergency. 

Through engaging discussions, interactive demonstrations, and inspirational success stories, we aim to shed light on UNIDO's holistic approach to supporting our Member States in greening their industrial sectors and building climate resilience.
